The giants of Serie A, Napoli, tried to sign Mauro Icardi and Inter reacted by wishing that players are exchanged for a possible agreement.
Icardi is about to leave the nerazzurri this summer while Antonio Conte is looking to get the Argentine out of the club. Icardi's relationship with the club is at its lowest since he was removed from captaincy three months ago.
We understand exclusively that Napoli has entered the race for Icardi and has already made a proposal to the former man of Sampdoria.
Inter, however, strongly reacted to the approach by saying that if Napoli wanted Icardi, he would like to give Piotr Zielinski and Fabian Ruiz a possible agreement.
Napoli considers them unsaleable, but it will be more common to release Lorenzo Insigne – a player Luciano Spalletti would have liked and would have liked in San Siro. But Conté had decided not to play Insigne when he was in charge of the Italian national team.
