Expect MMDCE List After Akufo-Addo Returns From Germany – John Boadu

Ruling New Patriotic Party General Secretary John Boadu called on party members and the general public to be patient as the list of heads of the Metropolitan, Municipal and District (MMDCE) executive will soon be released .

His comment follows a minority threat in parliament to summon local government minister Dan Botwe for what they claim to be an undue delay in releasing the MMDCE list.

In a one-on-one interview with Omanhene Kwabena Asante on Adom TV’s Badwam, the secretary general assured Ghanaians who had asked about the MMDCE list to wait for him after the president returned from his trip to Germany.

“The list of MMDCEs will be published in the week following President Akufo-Addo’s return from his trip to Germany. I can tell you that it will not take more than a week for the list to be published after his return on August 28, 2021, ”Boadu said.

He also intimidated that, without him, the MMDCE should have been elected by the electorate as the president intended, but for the last minute betrayal of the NDC opposition.
