EXTRA TIME: Africa reacts to U-20 World Cup draw

Mali, recently crowned champion of Africa under 20, has been clbadified in Group E with France, Panama and Saudi Arabia.

2013 World Champion in this age bracket, France is the toughest match on paper.

Senegal, finalist of the Africa U20 Cup 2019, is part of Group A with Poland, host country, as well as Colombia and Tahiti.

The Amajita of South Africa are part of the group of victims with Argentina, Portugal and South Korea. There are not only two elite teams in this group, but Argentina is also the most successful country in the history of this division.

Nigeria is part of Group D with defending champions Concacaf, the United States, as well as Qatar and Ukraine. They may seem to have the best opportunity to qualify for the knockout stages, but tournaments do not always run as they seem on paper.
