City to face Brighton and Hove Albion in FA Cup semi-final

Brighton made a spectacular recovery against Millwall after losing 2-0 with 88 minutes of play.

The Seagulls scored twice in the remaining time before winning on penalties to ensure a place in the last four.

Brighton manager Chris Hughton said after the draw: "Obviously, this is not the draw we wanted!"

City and Brighton have already registered twice at the FA Cup.

The first time, 95 years ago, the Blues triumphed 5-1 on the south coast.

The next meeting took place in 1983, with seagulls beating City 4-0 at Goldstone Ground en route to the final.

City beat Brighton 2-0 in the Premier League match last September, with Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero on the scoresheet.

The semifinal matches will be held at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7.

Watford will face the wolves in the other half.

The city match with Cardiff City, originally scheduled for April 6, will now be reorganized.

The FA Cup final is scheduled for Saturday, May 18th.
