Paa Kwesi Fabin, former Ghana Under-17 coach
Ghana's former Under-17 coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin, said he was eager to lead a successful campaign when he would be guiding the under-17 team of the team. However, FUFA President Moses Magogo praised Fabin's experience with the youth teams and expressed hope that his experience would come to support and help develop the Ugandan youth camp.
"We had the vacant position of the National Under-17 Team Head Coach and as a FUFA, we needed someone who has experience with young players.
"We also needed someone who could break contact with Europe, so that some of our players could probably cross the ranks. We think that the person we are recruiting will have a lot of international experience working with younger players. "

Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin led the Black Starlets to a second place finish in Gabon 2017 and the quarter-finals of the World Cup in India.
