Fabinho gives his perspective on the future with Mohamed Salah

Fabinho has his own perspective on Mohamed Salah’s Liverpool future. The Egyptian has introduced doubt in recent weeks.

Mohamed Salah gave an interview with AS last month where he said his future was in Liverpool’s hands. He has also spoken openly of Real Madrid and Barcelona as the best clubs.

Now, really, he never said anything bad. The interview came out of nowhere and that surprise seemed to exaggerate the quotes.

So at first glance there was nothing to worry about. But that didn’t stop some.

Shortly after, a former international teammate said the Liverpool man was unhappy. Mohamed Aboutrika has openly said that Salah could leave during an interview with beIN sports.

From there, TalkSport claimed Real Madrid want Salah.

But what about a current teammate? Fabinho has given his own perspective on Salah and his future at Liverpool.

“It’s normal”

“The big players will always have their names involved in the rumors,” Fabinho said, per Sky Sports. “Salah plays for Liverpool, one of the greatest teams in the world.

“So I think it’s normal to see his name linked to other teams, especially different leagues.

“Anyway, I see him very happy here and happy with his performance this season. He is very demanding of himself, he wants to be the best, he wants to help the team and he works hard for that.

“It always has been and it hasn’t changed at all.”

Fabinho therefore does not seem particularly worried. He always sees the same player, rather than the unfortunate one that some report.

And that is enough for us. We’ve never been particularly worried about Salah wanting to leave – Liverpool hold all the cards – but there really doesn’t seem to be any real cause for concern.

Consider this one as a media drama, then.
