Fabinho's WAGs, Firmino, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Alisson and Henry celebrated in Liverpool

It may have been the Liverpool players who won the Champions League trophy, but it was an equally exciting night for their wives and friends.

In the stadium, Rebeca Tavares, married to Fabinho, posted a story on Instagram showing her singing and jumping up and down, shouting "vamos" or "let's go", hugging people and kissing her CFL shirt.

She was then spotted with the medal around Fabinho's neck while she posed proudly to take pictures of him and the trophy.

Rebeca said on her Instagram post: "Work, perseverance, positivity, concentration and above all faith = champions !! I like you"

Linda Pizzuti Henry tweeted a video of the players throwing the manager Jurgen Klopp in the air with the words "Flying Klopp!"

Later, she put on her Instagram a video of the singers Go, Go, Go to the after party in Madrid.

Alison Becker's pregnant wife, Natalia, shared a photo of her and her daughter Helena in the company of her husband and published a series of posts about Liverpool's keeper.

The wife of Alberto Moreno, LiLia Granadilla, has published photos of the party and an image of the couple holding the trophy with the words "I am proud of you".

She also shared a picture of her and Moreno with Firmino and his wife Larrisa.

Larissa, Firmino's wife, published a photo of the couple biting their medal in the Champions League and a series of shots of him lifting the trophy.

The Little Mix star, Perrie Edwards, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's girlfriend shared a video singing "Never Never Walk Alone" from the stands of the Wanda Metropolitano stadium.

She was joined by her family and friends.
