By CCN: Origin Kebabs simply wanted to let subscribers know that four of its Queensland stores now accept bitcoins as a means of payment. Facebook did not have it and prevented the Australian restaurant from advertising on social networks. Someone may want to inform Mark Zuckerberg before launching his own FaceCoin, otherwise they could end up in an awkward position.

Kebabs of origin posted:

They reported an alert in which Facebook challenged advertising promoting "financial products and services such as … initial coin offers often badociated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices". Origin Kebabs is not an ICO.

The alert continues in these terms: "For ads promoting products and services related to cryptocurrency, the advertiser must first receive our prior written permission."

Thus, Origin Kebabs can announce that they now accept bitcoins if they receive authorization from the Zuckerberg site. This is good for a centralized entity like Facebook that controls the data. But that bodes ill for the future of FaceCoin in a decentralized ecosystem.

"So from June 26, [2018]We will update our strategy to allow ads promoting crypto-currency and related content from pre-approved advertisers. However, we will continue to ban ads promoting binary options and initial offers.

Origin Kebab Subscribers offer advice

The original followers of Kebab gave some advice to the fast food restaurant, suggesting:

Another follower explained:

"That's because you used the term bitcoin in your text. Facebook has automatically reported [thinking that] you were a rogue binary option. Add the text to the image and it will be approved without asking any questions. "

Origin Kebabs is outside the Binance chain
