Fact: Liverpool have lost just one Premier League match all season – a defeat against their closest rivals.
Fact: In the last 10 games they have earned more points (23) than Manchester City leaders (21).
Fact: Of the top six, only Manchester United have improved their points-per-game record in the past eight games.
I may have been a bit hasty when I said, late November, that we should put the title back to City.
Yes, Jurgen Klopp's team lost points against Leicester – who beat City and Chelsea on either side of Christmas – and West Ham, who beat Arsenal and Chelsea at home this season.
And yes, it's a shock. On paper, you would normally expect these games to report three points of these games, not one.
But does Liverpool really bottle?
