The families of the three girls kidnapped by Takoradi have canceled their demonstration scheduled for today. [Thursday].

Family spokesman Michael Hayford Grant spoke to Citi News about the decision.
"We had planned to hold a demonstration, but it was suspended because Child Rights is working hard to help us, in collaboration with the Ghanaian police, to recover our lovely sisters," he said. he declared.
At the same time, the chief of police of the western region, Vincent Redeemer Dedjo, directed Wednesday a delegation of eight policemen in the family of Ruth Love Quayson, one of the kidnapped girls of Takoradi, to present to the family the long-awaited liaison officers.

Rebecca Quayson, a sister of Ruth Love Quayson, one of the kidnapped girls said that she was happy that the police finally introduced them to three officers who will liaise with them about the ongoing investigation into their fate.
She expressed the hope that the police would bring them good news on the promised visit on Friday.
