NAPLES, Fla. – The famous sportsman Warner Wolf returned Thursday for damaging the entrance sign of his community of Naples.
The sign of the Clbadics Plantation community, which is attached to a fountain, was damaged last December.
The surveillance video of November 30, 2018 showed a man removing individual letters from the word "plantation," according to a police report.
Kevin McDonald, President of the Owners' Association, told members of Collier County that Mr. Wolf, 81, who lived in the community, expressed his depreciation for the word "plantation" and his desire to change the sign.
A witness told members of Collier County that he had seen Wolf standing in the fountain, "doing something for the sign", on November 30.
The witness then identified Wolf as the person in the surveillance video, according to a police report.
Wolf went to Naples Prison and was charged with an offense of more than $ 1,000.
