EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – As soon as the bell rang, students and fans gathered on campus to celebrate Michigan State's victory over Duke.

Some were shocked.

"It's unbelievable, honestly, I can not believe it, it's amazing, my second year here and we're in the Final Four," said sophomore skier John Skroley.

There were countless songs "Go Green, Go White" that resonated through Cedar Village Apartments.

"I really thought it was about to happen baby! Leave me alone!" junior Mithuun Sriniveasan said.

Some celebrated by burning things. But there was a common theme on campus after the Spartans reached their first Final Four since 2015.

"It's great that I have never experienced this experience with MSU, we were really good the year before I arrived in all sports and we had some moments of joy, but we shine a thousand lights at so far, "said junior Andrew Hamel.

"Final Four, baby! Final Four!" Sriniveasan added.
