The Central Region has seen a sharp decline in the number of road accidents killed by road accidents, largely thanks to an increased safety education campaign, coupled with a strict enforcement of the law.

The region recorded 43 deaths in the third quarter of the year, 46 fewer deaths than in the same period last year, a reduction of 6.5%.
