A father who agreed with his daughter’s argument that she was not a girl despite being assigned the female gender at birth and who agreed to make her a trans boy, insisted that her 4 year old son was never a birth girl.

In the UK there are plenty of other transgender children and Mattew Stubbings and his wife Klara Jeynes have both said their twin-born son Stormy started identifying as a boy at just 18 months old.

Although his child is now a trans boy, he says he had to face a struggle to get some adults to come to terms with Stormy’s decision – many still insisting on calling him a girl.

“I am so proud that he knows who he is and that he is not constrained by the norms and prejudices of the society. We can all learn something from this little boy and I am learning every day. Everyone is different.’

He added in the post: ‘We all have to accept that people are different and not try to force those around us to fit into a box that works for us.

“Accepting people for who they are is the only way to encourage innovation, embrace growth and harness the best in everyone. I have permission from my son to post this. He is proud of who he is.
