FC goalkeeper Vito Mannone ready for loan from MLS

Vito Mannone, goalie for reading, is about to accept a loan transfer to the United States.

The Italian striker lost favor with new Royals boss Jose Gomes and was exiled from the first-team group.

football.londres understands that the 30 – year – old should end his stay in Reading by joining the Major League Soccer (MLS) camp, Minnesota United, for the remainder of 2019.

Mannone played 47 games for the club after being signed by Jaap Stam in July 2017.

Former Sunderland goalkeeper Hull City and Arsenal are remembered by Royals for his decisive penalty throw in March 2018, which earned the team a crucial 1-0 win over QPR.

Mannone's contract with Reading expires in June 2020 and is unlikely to be renewed.

Gomes signed a loan with Arsenal for Emiliano Martinez during the transfer in January, while other detractors Anssi Jaakkola and Sam Walker also appear in the books of the Royals.

The start of the loan from Mannone to Minnesota should be announced later in the week.

The regular American season runs from March to October, while the dams take place in October and November.

Minnesota, playing in a stadium with more than 50,000 spectators, finished 10th in MLS Group B last season.
