Ram KC, a hardware controller at the district health bureau, said Chitwan was at high risk of dengue fever outbreaks this year.

"We mobilized 90 women health volunteers in the settlement areas to search for and destroy eggs, larvae and mosquito pupae. Volunteers will also include representatives of local development organizations, "said KC, adding that they had asked volunteers to identify mosquito breeding grounds.
