Mr. Edward Effah, President of Fidelity Bank Group, and Mr. Jim Baiden, Past President, were honored with the Lifetime Business Builder Achiever Award at the Fourth Summit of Business Leaders in Accra.
The awards recognize individuals who have successfully contributed to organizational success through a lifetime commitment to Ghana's businesses and economy.
Effah has been named CEO of the Decade, CEO of the Year, and has also been inducted into the Banking Sector Hall of Fame for his immense contribution to the banking sector, said Tuesday a statement forwarded to the Ministry of Finance. Ghana News Agency.
The Group President has been recognized for his achievements in corporate management, including Fidelity Bank's success story and his 30 years of experience as a senior finance executive, among other functions estimated that he had occupied.
According to the statement, Fidelity Bank, in its excellent leadership, has emerged as the largest privately-owned bank in Ghana.

For his part, Mr. Baiden has been inducted into the prestigious CEO Hall of Fame for his excellent performance during his tenure as CEO of the bank and for his key role as co-founder.

The Summit was opened by Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia with speeches from various speakers, including Dr. Ernest K. Yedu Addison, Governor of the Bank of Ghana.
The event was organized by Ghana's network of CEOs on the theme: "The futuristic economy: future of business and technology-driven governance for economic transformation", attracting more than 400 directors generals from all over Africa.
