FIFA has approved the statutes proposed by the Standards Commission, paving the way for a new constitution of the Ghana Football Federation.

The statutes proposed by CN were adopted in response to a broad consensus that some of the previous rules governing football governance in Ghana were impeding progress.

The 13-year leadership of Nyantakyi ended when he resigned 11 months ago after being involved in a presentation on widespread corruption in Ghanaian football.
