Queens1 1 Black Queens in 53rd place in the world rankings

The Ghanaian Black Queens lost two places to 53rd place in the last FIFA Women's World Ranking published in July 2019.

The Queens failed to qualify for the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France and, according to the standings, did not play any official matches in 2019.

Fourth place in Africa, the Ghanaians lost none of their 1,452 points in the period under review, but Cameroon, competing in the World Cup, gained five points to rank in second place behind Nigeria, first African team.

The Banyana Banyana of South Africa (third) round out the top three while the Ivory Coast ranks fifth.

Cameroon and Nigerian crashed in the knockout stages of the World Cup after being beaten 3-0 by European opponents.

Germany was easily imposed 3-0 against Nigeria, while Cameroon suffered the same fate during a brave encounter against England.
