Police have broadened investigations into the badbadination of Ahmed Hussein-Saule while she hires fingerprint experts and mapmakers to solve the murder of journalist TigerEye PI.
ACP David Eklu, chief executive officer for public affairs in the Ghana police, who revealed this information to Citi News, said the service was progressing in his investigation.
He added that the police had taken statements from some eyewitnesses and that the cartographer should give an artistic impression of the two people who shot the young journalist.
Ahmed HusseinSuale was shot twice in the chest and once on the neck by two armed men on a motorcycle in Madina, who killed him instantly.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) later interviewed some people. Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong and former GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi were invited to attend the inquiries.
"We are marshaling all our resources. There is a team of experts in homicide, ballistics, fingerprinting, interrogation and all other people working on the case.
"We are also working with other sister security agencies so that they can all help us, we are also working closely with the family and the TigerEye team so that we can bring these people to do facing the full the rigors of the law. We use the services of a cartographer to give us an idea, "said ACP Eklu.
Meanwhile, international agencies continue to press Ghana to find and arrest the perpetrators of the crime.
An ACP country, David Eklu, said that despite the pressure, the police would not have to make a hasty arrest for the murder of the investigative journalist.
He said the police were only following qualitative leads to bring the guilty to the pound.
