School principal Polycarp Kuusokub confirmed the incident.

This is where we keep the mattresses and distribute them to students when the need arises. According to the director, the school administration will set up a committee made up of a few teachers and students on Monday to investigate the cause of the fire while awaiting the firefighters’ report.

“Today at approximately 9:23 am we received a call from our national control room regarding a fire in St. Charles. So the nearest fire station, which is the Tamale University Hospital fire station, was dispatched.
