A firefighter, identified as Joseph Aidoo, of the Agona Swedru fire department in the central region, lost his life while saving three others.
Information gathered by Adom News’ Kofi Adjei revealed that Mr. Aidooo drowned while trying to rescue three people who fell inside the well while working in Gomoa Obuasi in the central region .
The officer tried to save their lives but drowned in the water and died after asking community members for help.
The three people were then removed from the well and are receiving treatment at Agona Swedru Hospital.
