Mozilla has released the Firefox Lockbox pbadword manager for Android. Lockbox secures Firefox pbadwords in a separate application.
For iOS, Firefox Lockbox has been available since last October as part of a pilot experience, now comes the Pbadword Manager for Android. Firefox Lockbox also stores pbadwords saved in the Firefox browser in a separate application, so you always have them with you.
The application is synchronized with the help of the Firefox account and can also be secured by means of an additional biometric access control (fingerprint scan or face ID). In addition, the access data is stored encrypted on the device.
The solution is free and Mozilla promises that, unlike the traditional pbadword manager, you do not have to configure everything. "This makes Firefox Lockbox an optimal solution for anyone who wants to protect their personal data, but does not have the time to transfer all access data to a pbadword manager," the blog says.
