A Chinese company, Greenhouse International Development Ghana Limited, donated 100,000 GHC to First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo.

The donation was made on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the launch of the Art and Language Exhibition of the 2019 Silk Road at the Confucius Institute of the University of Ghana ( U G).

This was made possible through the sale of paintings by six Chinese artists from the Chinese Behavioral Law Society.

The sale of the paintings made it possible to realize a total of 180 000 GH ¢. The remaining 80,000 ¢ should be allocated to other charitable projects in Ghana.

According to a report from 3news.com, the Silk Road Language & Art exhibition aims to promote cultural exchanges between Ghana and China.

YEN.com.gh understands that Ghana is one of the first countries in Africa to host the Silk Road Language & Art exhibition.

Ms. Akufo-Addo, who received the donation on behalf of her foundation after helping to present certificates to the artists, thanked the Society for its kind gesture.
