The first trailer of the upcoming Netflix interactive experience You Vs Wild throw Bear Grylls, man of survival, into the nature again.
This time, however, it's not Grylls' spirit and determination to keep him alive. It's you, the viewer, at home on your screen, clicking on choices that could determine whether he dies or not.
"I've spent all my life showing you how to survive on the toughest terrain in the world," says Grylls in the trailer. "Together, you and I are going to find our way back to civilization."
Some of the timed choices featured in the trailer are "Climb!" Or "Jump!" And "Walking!" Or "crawl!" the base of a cliff is yours. How many times will we watch Bear Grylls die ?!
Unlike the previous incursion of Netflix in live interactive media Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, the interface for You Vs Wild includes a controller, highlighting the fact that it's a game. Although Bandersnatch It revolved around a budding video game creator, Netflix did not call it a game.
