[ad_1]

After months of waiting, the Mitsubishi Triton facelift is now officially on sale. Buyers can choose from five variants, starting from RM 100 200 for VGT MT at RM135,200 for the VGT Adventure X AT high end.

The good news is that the five variants benefit from the bold new Dynamic Shield look, thanks to a raised hood line, narrow headlights and a large, chiseled front apron. Better still, they share the same 2.4L 4N15 MIVEC turbodiesel with 181 hp and 430 Nm of torque at 2500 rpm. The automatic variants benefit from a new six-speed group, replacing the previous five-speed. The manual variants have the same six-speed unit as before.

Those who are interested in the Triton will have a package of material to comb, especially for the top-of-the-line model. To summarize quickly, it is the only one to have the Mitsubishi Advanced Safety Kit, which includes forward collision mitigation, a blind spot warning with lane departure badistance, a rear cross traffic alert, a warning system. Ultrasonic crash mitigation, high beam and seven airbags.

All variants of the new Triton are fully imported (CBU) from Thailand and each purchase includes a 200,000 km or five year warranty. The first 1,000 customers to buy the Triton will also receive Thule Subterra luggage worth RM2,000.
