It was a starting formation that would have earned Mourinho the deserved stigma – the incendiary Marcus Rashford pushed to the left, the Perpetual movement of Ander Herrera Pereira, the defense movement of Jesse Lingard and Alexis Sanchez, exhausted by the defense, was inadequately replaced by the predictability of Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku. Solskjaer did not have the chance to lose Anthony Martial from his favorite starting team, but the rest was self-imposed.
It was as if the last six weeks had not arrived while United was again slow, heavy and devoid of any verve. It's a marvel.
