Accra – The Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Joseph Obiri Yeboah Mante, has slammed Ghanaians calling for the country to be fixed.

According to him, Ghanaians must fix their mouths and their attitude before telling the government to fix the country.

Reverend Mante said activists in the #FixTheCountry social media trend must learn to mend their mouths and find work to change Ghana.

Rt. The Reverend Prof. Mante also said that anyone who opposes the construction of the 111 hospitals is a wizard.

He described critics of the project as witches who wanted to derail government efforts.

In a report filed by Joynews, Reverend Mante said people have let politics get the best part of them as long as they want good health facilities.

He however instructed the government to remain focused and determined to undertake the project to make it a reality.

“We’ve let politics rule our lives to such an extent that if someone says they’re coming to build 111 hospitals and you’re mad about it, you’re a witch,” he said.

The call to Mend the Country was made by young Ghanaians who called on the government to do good by making sure all systems in the county were working.

They wanted the government to fix bad roads in parts of the country, provide health care, fix unemployment in the country and other important things.

This has led to many demonstrations planned both at home and abroad to make their point of view known to the government.
