Flagstaff House's hope, Nana Akufo-Addo, promised to remedy the energy crisis in the country if he were elected president in the December 7th poll.
According to him, the administration headed by Mahama is embarrbaded to admit that the electricity crisis persists despite the many badurances given by the president.
Ghana has been in a serious energy crisis for some time. Even though the situation seems to be easing, there are often uncertainties about Ghanaians' electricity supply.
In a series of tweets on Monday, the NPP spokesman said the crisis was not a technical but financial problem.
"The Mahama government, after claiming to have solved the problem, is now embarrbaded to admit that DUMSOR is still with us. The evidence is clear to all of us. We have evidence based DUMSOR.
"I want to badure you all that we will end DUMSOR by solving the financial problems our public services are facing. The problem of Dumsor is ultimately a financial problem, "noted the former Attorney General.
