The Latvian airline airBaltic launched scheduled flights between Riga and Dublin on 31 March 2019, adding a new option on the competitive route.
An Airbus A220-300 aircraft will serve Dublin four times a week, which will allow about 40,000 Latvians from Ireland to stay close to their country and to open Latvia to more tourists and travelers. 39, Irish affairs.

airBaltic serves more than 70 destinations from Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius. In summer 2019, it will introduce new connections from Riga to Stuttgart, Lviv, Kos and Menorca, in addition to Dublin.
