Flour sold at ALDI could have E. coli

After 17 people reported being sick, ALDI recalls their all-purpose flour.

according to CDCFlour may be contaminated with E. coli and diseases have been reported in 8 states between 11 December 2018 and 18 April 2019. Of these 17 states, three have been hospitalized.

The recall only concerns the Baker's Corner 5-pound bag. However, the FDA is continuing its investigation to ensure that no other brand of flour has been affected. People are asked discard the flour or bring it back to the store for a refund.

Although Michigan is not one of the eight states listed, it is never bad to be on the safe side. The eight states are: Connecticut, Delaware, Mbadachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and West Virginia.

Symptoms of E. coli include stomach upset, bloody diarrhea and vomiting. Most people usually do better in a week.
