The introduction of iOS 4 application folders is a welcome addition to the operating system as it is a fantastic tool to scramble a large library of applications, but it only takes a few minutes to play with the features and discover its sad limitations … which my case mainly relies on the inability of the folder systems to support multiple pages in folders, or nested matrioshka-like folders within each other.

That's why I'm so excited about FolderEnhancer, a Cydia tweak for jailbroken iOS 4.1 devices that adds a host of new tweaks to the default folder system, including subfolder hierarchies, pages, and more. moving several icons at once.

Of course, it's not for everyone, but I'm looking forward to a happy future in which my myriad of over-the-top game folders are brought together and subdivided into carefully defined genres. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for free: all of Cydia's best settings carry price tags.
