LONDON: French striker Aboubakar Kamara has been suspended indefinitely by Fulham after being arrested on suspicion of bodily injury and criminal damage after a fight at the club's training ground.
"The police were called to a training ground in New Malden shortly after 5 pm on Monday, January 21, to hear about a fight," reads a statement from the Metropolitan Police. .
"Officers were present.A man of 20 or so years was arrested on suspicion of ABH and criminal damages.
The 23-year-old striker has been involved in a series of unsavory incidents in recent weeks.
Kamara has angered his coach Claudio Ranieri by defying the order to take a penalty, which he missed, in a vital clash in the fight for survival of the Premier League against Huddersfield last month.
"It's amazing, he did not respect me, neither the club, nor the team, nor the crowd.I talked to him, it's not good.I want him to kill, "said Ranieri at the time.
Aleksandar Mitrovic and Kamara would then have been trapped at a yoga session on the club's training grounds.
Kamara has not even been included in the Ranieri team as a result of recent defeats at Burnley and Tottenham.
"The club is grateful for the speed with which the Metropolitan Police attracted attention and action immediately after we reported the incident Monday," Fulham said in a statement.
"The subject that has been stopped is banned indefinitely from Motspur Park and all the activities of the club.

Signed by the French team of Amiens in 2017, Kamara scored seven goals to facilitate Fulham's promotion to the Premier League last season and has five goals in 15 appearances this season.
