PETALING JAYA: Perak's left-back, Nazirul Naim, is not impressed by Kedah's offensive prowess in the FA Cup final at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on Saturday.
The Red Eagles have a big lead over their foreign players Fernando Rodriguez, Jona-than Bauman and experienced locals
Mohd Zaquan, Adha Abdul Razak, Thanabalan, Baddrol Bakthiar and Farhan Roslan.
Between them, they scored 47 goals in 28 games this season.
But Nazirul is confident that the Seladang will have no problem in defeating his threat as long as he follows his game plan.
"We must not lose the ball cheaply. Keep possession and this will prevent Kedah from inflicting damage, "Nazirul said.
The 26-year-old also added that the experience gained by playing in the final of the Malaysian Cup last year would be useful.
"Nobody left us a chance to succeed after spending most of the match against Terengganu," he said.
"But we fought to reach the level and win the shootout. We know what it takes to win a cup final. We will be ready on Saturday.
Perak won the FA Cup for the last time in 2004 and Nazirul said it was time to end the 15-year wait.
"We had a slow start to the season and things started to take shape after the halfway point. We have played well since then and in the last six games we have won four, one draw and one loss, "said Nazirul.
"The victory of the Malaysian Cup has stimulated our appetite to win more silverware and we must use our current form to win the FA Cup."
