From craze for five cryptographic companies to Tron's incredible BitTorrent Token price tag, here are some of the stories that have erupted in the world of cryptography.
Crypto Accolades
Forbes has just released its annual list of the 50 most innovative financial technology companies in 2019, which includes five companies related to cryptography. Cryptographic exchanges include Coinbase, Circle and Gemini, as well as cross-border payment company Ripple and mining company Bitcoin Bitfury.
In addition to the five crypto-centric companies, a sixth startup based on a chain of blocks is on the list. Channel block company Axoni plans to use smart contracts to power some of the world's largest derivatives markets.

Bitcoin
VanEck's director of digital badet strategy, Gabor Gurbacs, said the public deserved the SEC's approval of the company's proposal, Bitcoin ETF. Gurbacs has consulted Twitter to explain six reasons why he thinks the time is right.
On Thursday, Cboe again submitted to the SEC the ETF VanEck / SolidX Bitcoin proposal to the SEC after withdrawing it during the recent government shutdown.

Tron
Tron's BitTorrent Token (BTT) has seen a dramatic 807% increase in price since its ICO.
Binance Launchpad distributed BTT priced at $ 0,00012 the token, at a sale that lasted about 14 minutes on Jan. 31. The coin is now worth $ 0.001069 and is up more than 50% today alone. Its 24-hour trading volume rose from $ 177 million Thursday to $ 513 million, according to the latest data from CoinMarketCap.
Cardano
Cardano's founder, Charles Hoskinson, has joined the predictive badytics company Endor as a senior advisor, according to CoinTelegraph.
The company is striving to become the "Google of Predictive Analytics" and create a platform for users to ask questions about the future.
