"Forgive the ANC for our mistakes," Ramaphosa pleads at the final rally to get votes

Prior to Wednesday's national and provincial elections, President Cyril Ramaphosa took advantage of the ANC's latest mbad rally to apologize for the mistakes and mistakes of the party and its members, apparently appealing to the ability to to forgive South Africans.

However, he asked voters and people gathered at Ellis Park Stadium to trust the party with their votes, saying no other party deserved to run the country.

Speaking at the speech at the ANC's rally in Siyanqoba on Sunday, Ramaphosa apologized to the country, saying the ANC was a party that acknowledged its shortcomings.

He added that only those who do nothing do not make mistakes. "We want to say that we are sorry for all the mistakes we have made," Ramaphosa said.

Ramaphosa told the crowd of 62,000 people that across the countryside, the
ANC had traveled the country and listened to people from all walks of life
walks of life.

"They told us where the service delivery failed, where
the infrastructure has not been maintained, where people with authority and
responsibility stole money … They are frustrated by the slowness
economic growth rate and the devastating effects of poverty and
unemployment.

"We have heard about the difficulties that many of them continue to encounter in the
in the midst of a challenging economic environment, bills that need to be
paid, rising costs of food, fuel and transportation ".

He said people have raised these concerns in a brusque and direct way, as the ANC is the only organization able to address their concerns.

"They know the remarkable progress we've made together for 25 years, but they know we could have done more and that there is still much to be done," Ramaphosa told the crowd and the country.

"And so, today, as the ANC, we say to the South African people: We have heard you, we have listened carefully and with humility.

"Where we have been found lacking, we accept criticism, where we have made mistakes, we recognize them wholeheartedly."

In accepting the critics and apologizing for the mistakes made by the ruling party, Ramaphosa said that the ANC was ready to lead again, calling on South Africans to embark on a journey of Hope and renewal.
