A twenty-three-year-old ex-convict was arrested by police for allegedly stealing a nine-month-old boy from Agona Swedru in the central region.

Patience the day of his release from prison on Saturday, June 7, 2019, allegedly called the father of the child, Pastor James Ayesu, Chief Pastor of the House of the Ministry of Salvation Prayer in Nsusoso, in the suburbs from Agona Swedru, and has introduced himself as a parent who is stuck to Agona Swedru.

Pastor Ayesu invited the suspect home to better understand his situation because he had initial doubts about the story of the suspect.
In an attempt to convince Pastor Ayesu, the suspect managed to mention the names of some of his outside relations, which convinced him that he was related to the suspect.

The suspect then informed the pastor of his decision to join him in his church.
On that fateful day, at the end of the religious service, his wife, who wanted to go through the market to buy food, left the nine-month-old baby in the care of her 14-year-old daughter and other suspicious brothers and sisters. and asked them to go home.
Although the parents warned the children not to give the baby to the suspect on their way home, she managed to convince the eldest daughter to hand him over under the pretext of buying the baby and her elderly sister's food. seven years we are hungry.
When the parents came home and were informed that the suspect had gone out with the baby and his sister to buy food for them, they became alarmed and suspected of a criminal act.
They quickly rushed to the various bus stations in search of the suspect and, fortunately, after a lengthy search, they found their seven-year-old daughter at the PROTOA station, commonly known as the "Osama" station. and when they interrogated her about where she was. from the baby, she said that the suspect had locked with him.
Subsequently, they filed a formal complaint at the Swedru police station and an alert was sent to all police stations across the country to speed up the arrest of the suspect.

Confirming the arrest of the suspect to the media last Friday, Chief Superintendent Alex Buabin, officer in charge of the Judiciary Police at the Swedru Police Headquarters, said the suspected suspect was apprehended during his search in New Edubiase , in the region of Ashanti. According to him, the suspect has since been transferred to Agona Swedru for interrogation and further investigation.
