Former Home and Away star Mat Stevenson appeared on The Sunday Project this weekend with her transgender daughter Grace Stevenson.
The actor, who appeared on the soap opera in the ’90s, reminded co-host Lisa Wilkinson of his friends’ reactions to learning that his son was in transition.

Grace knew she was meant to be male from the age of ‘four or five’ and began her transition at the age of 12.

“ I got out at 12, then I went through a gradual transition until I was 14, to grow my hair out, to get my name change sorted out, to get rid of my blockers, ” he said. Grace said to Lisa.
