Former Mahama appointees now bearers of Ghana's torch on the world stage

[ad_1]

I recalled that HE John Dramani Mahama, during his concession speech on December 9, 2016 after the general election, made a profound statement that left many of us with tears in our eyes.

Among other things, he said: "I will leave history to judge my time and contribution as long as I am in this position."

In fact, this was a very busy statement that can even be considered a summit for a thesis or dissertation.

The NPP, while opposed to the mbadive support of Ghana's media sectors (media substitutes and cabals), managed to attribute an "incompetent" label to HE John Dramani Mahama and his representatives.

The ugly chorus and cacophony were defended by Ghana's current president, Nana Akufo Addo, and by the current vice-president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, then flag bearer and vice presidential candidate. respectively in the opposition.

It is interesting to note that President Mahama's "incompetent" appointees began to receive international calls, offers of engagement, and appointments less than a month after Akufo Addo's appointment. the Presidency.

It all began with Ambbadador Kwesi Quartey in January 2017. He was elected Vice President of the AU Commission at the 28th Meeting of Heads of State and Government in Africa in January 2017.

In June 2018, the former Attorney General and Minister of Justice of President Mahama, Hon. Marrietta Brew Appiah-Oppong has been appointed a member of the Court of Arbitration of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.

On July 13, 2018, Hon. Hannah Tetteh, former Foreign Minister under HE John Dramani Mahama, has been appointed Executive Director of the United Nations Office in Nairobi, Kenya.

In November 2018, the Hon. (Prof.) Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, former Minister of Education under HE John Dramani Mahama, has been appointed Chancellor of the Women's University in Africa.

On December 10, 2018, the Hon. Hannah Tetteh has once again been appointed to a new, possibly superior position as Special Representative of the United Nations Office at the African Union (AU) in Addis Ababa Ethopia.

In May 2019, Ms. Charlotte Osei, former Director of the EC in Ghana, was dismissed under the very serious circumstances orchestrated by Akufo Addo and the PNP was appointed International Commissioner for Elections in Afghanistan.

Indeed, "I will leave history to judge my time and my contributions during my highest office".

This is one of the aspects of the deep badysis of the statement made by JM the day he yielded to Nana Akufo Addo.

Today, evidence and testimony about the quality of leadership of HE MJM and his former appointed members are not only abundant in Ghana, but are also fully exposed at the international level.

Today, I can surmise that JM is highly sought after internationally for its expertise in a wide range of challenges and issues ranging from the economy to democracy, credible elections, anti-corruption crusade, peace and security, etc.

His former appointees Nana Akufo Addo and his deputies as "incompetent people in Mahama" are precisely those who raise the flag of Ghana very high in the sky at the international level with JM himself, while the Akufo Addo's government "paints" rather black Ghana with all sorts of heinous acts.

These and other equally important reasons are sufficient to justify the re-election of HE John Dramani Mahama and the NDC on 7 December 2020 to help Ghana.

It is important to note that the 2020 elections will NOT be our usual elections, especially between the NDC and the NPP. It will be more of Ghana. It will be your future, my future, their future and that of future generations.

It does not matter whether you have voted for an NPP, a PPP, a CPP, an APC, etc. in previous election cycles, the 2020 elections are different, vote for Ghana, vote for a better future for children and grandchildren by voting overwhelmingly for JM and the NDC.

Ghanaians can no longer afford to live in a climate of anarchy and insecurity after January 7, 2021. The next generation would not have forgiven the Ghanaians if we expelled Akufo Addo and the PNP in 2020.

We can not afford to go through a new wave of terrible leadership coupled with unbearable living conditions for another 4 years under Akufo Addo and his NPP.

I would like to take this opportunity to also thank His Excellency Mr. JM for his foresight and wisdom for providing opportunities to very capable men and women in Ghana, particularly among the members of the NLC, some of whom are now " "torches" from Ghana in the international community.

Congratulations to all of you, distinguished men and women.

Vote wisely in 2020.
We are proud of you all.
God bless our homeland Ghana
And make us big again.
