A former Manchester United player, who left the club with a free agent early this month, broke the silence on what led him to make the decision to leave the Red Devils.

Ander Herrera recently signed an agreement for Paris Saint-Germain, after breaking his contract in England last week.
While many United fans were confused about the details regarding his club exit, Herrera has now hinted that he was not made to feel so important before next season, the main reason why he decided to leave.

"I do not like watching the past a lot, but there were differences about the project and my importance to it," he said. Marca.
"I was very happy, I have a lot to thank the club and the fans as well as Solskjaer.
"He did a lot for me to stay, but nothing happened, they arrived late and I had already made the decision to play in Paris."

Herrera played 189 games for United, scoring 20 goals and helping a further 27 goals.
