When Uber fired more than 400 marketers Monday morning, Michael Houck, an Airbnb product manager who spent two years at Uber Eats' food distribution arm, Uber, posted an article on LinkedIn telling him asking if he could help him.

So many people interacted with the message and sent him messages that he decided to create a Google Docs public spreadsheet. Since then, more than 250 ex-Uber staff members have added their names to the spreadsheet and recruiters have posted more than 500 job offers in companies such as Airbnb, Adobe, Anheuser-Busch, Google and Pinterest .
Notable marketing executives shared the post, including Musa Tariq, Global Marketing Manager at Airbnb Experiences, and Jonathan Mildenhall, former Airbnb Marketing Director and co-founder of the TwentyFirstCenturyBrand brand board.
"The reason it has taken off is because, on the recruiters' side, there is a pool of selected and quality candidates, ambitious and ambitious in their research," Houck said. "And on the talent side, they are world clbad marketers and they have been in the wrong place at the wrong time."
