At least three people would be killed in a terrible accident Saturday at Annkyernyin Junction, near Apowa, in the West region.
One of the victims was completely cut off.
An eyewitness told Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson of the FM channel that the accident involved a truck carrying bauxite and a mini-bus.
The pbadenger bus was heading to Takoradi from Agona Nkwanta when the truck from Takoradi, which was trying to overtake two vehicles two years ago, crashed into the minibus.

Assembly member of the Apowa constituency, Nicholas Nyarko, told TV3 News360 that he had been informed of the accident around 5.30 pm
"It was brutal," he recalls as he recounted the icy moment when he visited the scene of the accident.
"This is the first time I see a person cutting their head after an accident," he said, noting that three people were dead on the spot.
