Four dead in Tarkwa accident

Four people died Monday in an accident in Tarkwa, in the Western Region, when a pbadenger minivan hit a pickup truck.

Of the four people who survived the accident, two continue to receive medical care at the hospital.

The bodies of the deceased still to be identified were deposited at the morgue of the hospital Apinto of Tarkwa.

According to the police, an Opel minibus registered GT 5577-18 was carrying seven pbadengers and heading for Bogoso.

The Toyota Landcruiser with the ER 3117-11 registration that had finished refueling at fuel station on the stretch entered the road towards Tarkwa and crossed the Opel, which caused the accident.
