The scene is almost ready for the 2019 Nations Cup of Nations, but before the opening ceremony opens in Cairo, Egypt, on June 21, there is still a last bitter qualifying phase to pbad .
The expanded format of the tournament will allow 24 teams to become the largest football nation in Africa and gain prestige representing the continent at the 2021 Confederations Cup in Qatar.
With 14 teams having already booked their tickets for the competition itself, there are still ten places in the game for the main international tournament of the continent. Here are four qualifying encounters not to be missed:

Botswana may be in last place, with a derisory point to its name, but Angola, the second country, must also face the psychological pressure of Burkina Faso. Only a win can guarantee Srdjan Vasiljevic's players a place in this summer's competition. The last time these two teams met, Angola won 1-0.
Alanyaspor 's Djalma Campos will seek to help the Angolan team cross the finish line and reach the third African Cup of Nations of his international career.
Angola has never won the Africa Cup of Nations. This year would be as good as changing that for Sand Antelopes.

The fate of both teams is at stake in the Group B match between Cameroon and Comoros.
Sitting in second place with eight points, the Indomitable Lions hold the top; It is incumbent on Amir Abdou's islanders to win the decisive match. A win by more than one goal will automatically qualify the Comoros for a spot in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Given the rich history of football in the country and his status as defending champion, it would be very upsetting for Cameroon to miss a 24-team tournament.

However, things are so well prepared for the last qualifying weekend that, if Cameroon wins and the leader of the group in Morocco, he would qualify at the top of the group.
The last time the two sides played each other, the result was 1-1.
The Cameroon front line is full of talent with personalities like Clinton N'jie (Marseille), Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (PSG) and Karl Toko Ekambi (Villarreal), keeping the defense safe.
There are also some very familiar faces on the Cameroon bench, Clarence Seedorf being appointed director last August alongside deputy director and compatriot Patrick Kluivert.

Our heart goes to the anxious fans of group G. Three points separate the leader of the group, Zimbabwe, from the fourth country. The result here will come up to the thread.
President George Weah may even decide to tie his boots, because in the other game of the group, his beloved Liberia should face the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This match will be broadcast on beIN SPORTS Connect 4 at 8:45 am Sunday.

South Africa has not won the African Cup of Nations since 1996. It was also the first time that the "Bafana Bafana" were hosts.
The match between Libya and South Africa is another hotly contested race for first place in the group.
Nigeria is currently in first place with points, but South Africa and Libya are lagging behind with nine and seven points respectively.
A defeat for South Africa excludes the qualification, a result that the former host country of the World Cup will no longer want to entertain.

A victory for Libya means a guaranteed place for the Africa Cup of Nations. Having only participated in the tournament three times, one of which in 1982, it would mean the whole world to the Knights of the Mediterranean.
