Four Kenyan pilgrims beaten in Iganga

At least four people were confirmed dead and four seriously injured when a taxi driver lost control of his forces and struck Kenyan pilgrims walking in groups to Namugongo Matyres Shrine.

The accident occurred Sunday morning in the village of Bugodi, along the Iganga-Jinja highway, when a driver of a taxi identification number , UBD 680W, lost control and struck pilgrims.

Two pilgrims identified as Joselyn Wanjala and sarah Ajambo died on the spot, while Pelivin Malinde and Geofrey Ogaga died on their arrival at Iganga Hospital.
