Four Premier League players that Reading FC could borrow for next season

The 2018/19 campaign is officially over and the focus is now on transfers and team building before next season.

However, as a short-term means of recruitment, some clubs such as Reading will explore the lending market to attract high-quality, high-potential young people.

These players are not yet ready to debut in their Premier League parent clubs, but they are more than enough to make a difference in the championship.

These offers are generally beneficial for all parties involved, as the player has play time and exposure, the temporary club receives quality for a very low price and the parent club reaps the rewards.

The Royals were very successful with four players on loan to the Premier League in January: Emiliano Martinez (Arsenal), Matt Miazga and Lewis Baker (Chelsea) and Ovie Ejaria (Liverpool).

And his manager, Jose Gomes, hopes that the borrower players he will manage to obtain during the summer will have a similar effect in 2019/20.

Eddie Nketiah (Arsenal)

Ryan Kent (Liverpool)

Liverpool currently has a host of potential loan signings in his club, Ryan Kent being perhaps the most appropriate for next season.

The Englishman is now 22 years old and has had a productive season with Steven Gerrard at the Rangers, but in the end, the Scottish club simply can not afford to sign it definitively.
