France levies 3% tax on large technology companies

[ad_1]

France has adopted a controversial tax bill aimed at the giants of technology, the first of its kind among the world's leading economies.
The 3% tax concerns companies whose worldwide turnover is $ 800 million, including 30 million in France, such as Google, Apple, Facebook and Amazon.
The French movement has angered the White House.
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has ordered the opening of an investigation into the proposed tax, a review that could give rise to retaliatory tariffs.
