Boxing legend Frank Bruno was photographed for the first time since his recent fight against pneumonia.
The former heavyweight champion was taken to hospital earlier this month after being struck by the disease.
Aged 57, he admitted exclusively to the Daily Mirror being afraid of the worst by screaming in pain and not being able to breathe properly.
He was rushed to hospital by a friend and the infection of both lungs was diagnosed him, but he is now recovering from medication.
And he was fit enough to make his first public appearance since the health crisis that took place at the Champneys Charity Gala for the benefit of Cancer Research UK.
Bruno has been one of the many celebrities to join the prestigious fundraiser at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel.
He was photographed arriving on the red carpet and looked healthy while he was wearing a fist of mark while he was wearing a blue suit.
Bruno was ordered to rest for fifteen days after his health crisis, which allowed him to receive a very large number of wishes from all over the world.
Speaking about his illness last week, he said: "It was horrible – and for a few moments, I feared the worst.
"I was not able to catch my breath and the more I tried, the more I suffered, I did not know if it was my heart or if I had a broken rib."
"I can only thank God for being taken there so quickly. If I did not do it, it could have been a lot worse. "
The former heavyweight king is an extremely popular figure in the sport and bravely heads the Sunday Mirror's mental health campaign titled "Time to Change."
He is now fighting to be in good shape and be able to realize his Ben Nevis climbing project for his foundation, the Frank Bruno Foundation, in May.
It seems that his recovery is positive, much to the delight of his thousands of fans worried about news that broke out in early March.
