Frank Lampard was denied a first win as Chelsea manager, the late-tied Bohemians at their pre-season friendly match in Dublin.

He named a different XI in both halves and many young people had their chance.

Ethan Ampadu, Marc Guehi, Conor Gallagher, Dujon Sterling and Kasey Palmer had the chance to play alongside seasoned professionals like Willy Caballero, Cesar Azpilicueta and Danny Drinkwater.

It took Chelsea only eight minutes to score the first goal when Michy Batshuayi recovered Kenedy's deflected shot, shot his marker and shot.

The lone goal seemed to be enough for Frank Lampard's team, who failed to score before the rest of the match, but Bohemian's Molloy scored one goal late to take the score to 1-1.

The Blues will play another game in Dublin on Saturday against St Patrick's Athletic before flying to Japan to face Barcelona.
