Frank Lampard spoke about the rumors linking him to the work of Chelsea's manager.
Lampard impressed in his first season as a manager with Derby County and led them to the championship playoff final.
He will face Aston Villa at Wembley on Monday, with live commentary on talkSPORT, with a Premier League spot to win.
Speculation has surrounded current Blues director Maurizio Sarri and others linking him to the vacant Juventus position.
Lampard tackled these rumors in an interview with talkSPORT before the playoff final.
"I'm not an idiot," he told Ian Abrahams of talkSPORT.
"I know the rumors and they were there earlier in the season. The first thing I will say is that Maurizio Sarri is their manager, so from my point of view, I should not say too much anyway.
"We have a huge game on Monday and the way this club has hosted and the opportunity it has offered, and I have two years of contract, my goal can only be that of this match.
